Arnold Arrozal
Instructional Lead - Math
Arnold has been an educator for more than 20 years. Prior to working for the NYCDOE, he worked at the university teaching upper and developmental mathematics, and education courses. He conducted and presented several papers including one at the International Congress on Mathematics Education. In the NYCDOE, he worked in different capacities including leading a math department to improve the students’ State test performance by up to 51%. He also served as a faculty member at the NYCDOE Office of Leadership where he mentored aspiring school leaders. Currently, he is pursuing a Master of Education (Ed.M.) degree in Education Leadership at Harvard Graduate School of Education.
