Rajendra Jimenez-Jailall
Special Instructional Liaison
Rajendra Jimenez-Jailall presently serves as the Special Instructional Liaison for District 28. He comes from a family of educators and has worked for The New York City Department of Education for eighteen years, serving in a variety of capacities.
Rajendra’s passion for education began as an elementary school teacher. Understanding that his impact could be more profound, he accepted a position as a literacy coach, supporting teacher development. After several years, he attended a leadership program and became an assistant principal servicing students and adults in an elementary school as well as a high school setting for newly arrived Multilingual Learners. As principal, Rajendra has also supervised middle school as well as a District 75 school.
Rajendra diverse experiences and dedication to teaching and learning will be an asset to District 28 community.
