Kayla DiMuro
District Achievement Instructional Specialist
Kayla DiMuro was an educator for the last 11 years, as a mathematics middle school teacher within District 28. DiMuro served as a mathematics team leader and coach, as well as a new teacher mentor, where she developed curriculum, supported new teachers in planning and executing lessons, and curated data reports for the mathematics department.
DiMuro now serves as District Achievement Instructional Specialist with an expertise in mathematical and mathematical instruction. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Adolescent Mathematics Education from SUNY Oneonta and School Building Leadership and School District Leadership certification from SUNY Stony Brook.
She is passionate about supporting students to see the connections between mathematics and the real-world. She has a love for learning and is dedicated to supporting both teachers and administrators to provide meaningful learning experiences for students.
