Dr. Martine Santos, Ed. D.,
Director of ELL Programs
Dr. Martine Santos, has been with the New York City Department of Education for 27 years. She started working in District 9 as an accountant/auditor and held that position for 3 years. She then moved on to become a teacher, Bilingual Dean of students, Assistant Principal, and Principal in District 9 as well.
In 2003, Dr. Santos became a district Administrator and worked in the Central office of the New York City Department of Education where she held several positions from Intervention specialist, Director of Bilingual Education, Director of Professional Learning to Executive Director for the Division of English Language Learners until September of 2016.
In October of 2016, Dr. Santos became the Director of ELL Programs in Community School District 28.
