Natalie Jackson
Administrative Assistant
Natalie has been the Administrative Assistant for the District 28 Superintendent’s Office in Jamaica, New York since September 2013. In this position she works closely with the superintendent, and the district staff, supporting our 35 school principals, their school secretaries, as well as our students and their parents.
She serves as the primary contact for external offices, coordinates various activities, and conference meetings. Natalie has served the New York City Department of Education for over 25 years, starting as a bookkeeper for teacher’s payroll, then moving on to work with the Committee on Special Education and Preschool Special Education for Districts 28 and 29 in various capacities including Impartial Hearing Coordinator. While working with the Committee on Special Education, she enjoyed creating innovative ways of making the workflow more productive and organized.
Natalie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Marketing, and a Master of Science degree in Urban Childhood Education from Long Island University. She also enjoys playing volleyball and party planning.
