Stacy Palmer
Administrator of Special Education
Born in Montego Bay, Jamaica, Stacy Palmer emigrated to the United States as a teenager. In 2007, she became a Teaching Fellow and joined NYC Public Schools as a special education teacher of English and Global History. She later transitioned to a Professional Development Trainer with Brooklyn TCAC within the Central Special Education Office supporting schools across the borough of Brooklyn with transition planning and postsecondary readiness. With her love for compliance as the driving force, she became an Administrator of Special Education wherein she first supported Brooklyn North High school district. Palmer brings experience in supporting compliance and services to students with IEPs and looks forward to sharing her expertise, passion and knowledge in support of our students in District 28 to promote their best outcomes. She is a strong believer that all children can learn and therefore all things are possible.
