Tina Braham-Wyley has been with the New York City Department of Education for 15 years. She started working in District 13 as a School Business Manager for two Elementary Schools for 3 years then promoted to a District 26 High School as a School Business Manager functioning in the role as an Assistant Principal of Operations for 4 years. Worked for Queens North CFN 201 and 205 supporting schools with budget and operations. In 2014- Present, Tina Braham-Wyley became an Academic Policy and System Lead, Performance Assessment Lead (APPA) for District 28 Queens South Elementary and Middle Schools. She works with the OPE to make key decisions regarding the development and implementation of policies in the functional areas of academic policy and systems, assessment and school performance data. Manages and coordinates workflows across functions to ensure implementation of policies and regulations with fidelity and in alignment with ongoing DOE initiatives. Leads and coordinates trainings based on schools’ demonstrated areas of need and the processes schools complete throughout the school year. Troubleshoots and escalates school-level policy and systems functionality issues requiring resolution. Serves as a resource to support team members and the Superintendent to assess and resolve school level policy issues related to academic policy and systems, assessment and performance data.
